Welcome to JSOS - Full JavaScript Software Stack
JSOS aims at zero barrier of entry to Internet of Things and embedded software development for JavaScript developers. We will package together the best in JavaScript and node.js on top of embedded Linux, so that you can build beautiful software to power your gadgets.
The JSOS core projects focus on an adaptation layer to make the kernel functions and hardware accessible, and system modules for a lightweight JavaScripted system-level services. With the exception to the adaptation layer, the operating system specifics will be kept at minimum, so that the whole node.js and JavaScript community can reuse and benefit from the effort.
